Mann ki chita

Aanch dheemi thi
rang bhi neela tha
Jal raha tha main.
Andar hi andar se
Dhuan dhuan har rog hua
aur raakh ki tarah
padh raha tha kala
jab is jalte mann ne
mujhe hi jala dala.

Raakh mein bikhre
kuch khwab, kuch chaah,
abhi na jale the.
Beparwah mann ke kuch kone,
dadadhkte jism ki raakh mein
abhi na rale the.
Jal rahi thi agar,
To vo bechaini thi,
ubal rahi thi agar,
to vo galat fehmi thi.
Udaasi bhi de rahi thi
is aag ko hava,
Mayoosi bhi na hoi paayi,
apne haal se bewafa.
Bhasm ho gya main
phail gya havaon mein
phailte kaale gubaar mein.
Aur baith gyi aag
simat gyi raakh,
Utar gya thanda pad kar,
jal raha tha jis ishq ke bukhaar mein

Deception of the moon

I let my self
glue to the scene
Through the window,
the cloudy moon,
calling me,
to drown inside
The dark ocean of the night.
and so I did.

Drowning is no tough job,
when there's no fear of dying,
but as I swam to the surface,
I wished more and more to live,
fascinated and held by the,
glorious moon,
swimming slowly,
further away,
amongst clouds'
hazy ambience.
And ask me for how the worldly pleasures lose their meaning,
cause floating on the top of the world,
this mystic witness,
had let once, the will to live, be alive,
and then the fear of death, sleep tight.

Hoards of clouds,
were lazily slipping on this
silvery lit dark surface of the night,
a star would every now and then,
beam at me and hide quickly,
like a play of hide and seek,
or writing a message in their,
Beaming characters,
to which I was least bothered.
I was already taken
by the figure that appeared
where moon was.
Myth has it,
the moon shows the most precious,
thing when it shines bright,
the borrowed exuberance of the sun,
is nothing, but the aura, the light,
of the person, that enlightens your mind, when it behomes the ever dark misery.
This voyage of clouds,
and the climb to the moon,
was however halted by time,
as the sun's yawn was ready to break dawn,
and I fell back to earth,
away from the inscription
of my dream girl,
that the moon bore with grace,
and with no shame,
It was taking away,
the dear girl, with it, to the other world.
And If I ever would have cared,
Of what stars were saying,
this dawning despondency,
had not crossed my way,
only If I had cared about,
what the message of the stars, had to say.

Ashes

Rage is enlightenment,
in dark, a flickering candle,
and in plenty, destruction,
exceedingly tough to handle.
We all behome darkness,
and so does the fire,
we are at its mercy,
after the will of our desire.

Dragons are real,
they live inside us.
They are the warmth of your heart,
the energy of your soul,
the spark of your charm,
like burning hot coal.
They feed on your rage,
and bleed destruction,
no you cannot cage,
when they exhale fire.
And no one is to be spared,
no culprit, no innocent,
if they escape the fragile shell of your body.
Cause they'll hatch like birds,
and duel with each other,
flying out of your reach,
and all what you would see
would be,
orange fire,
blinding bloody red.
Insane killing white,
and one by one,
the worldly shapes,
would be ashes black,
darker than the darkness you behome
spread all along in your view,
and you'll perceive it as the illusion,
but horror to your belief,
you'll know,
that,
Dragons are real.
