That Day

Someday,
I will find you as my strength
my strongest attribute.
I dont know where, I dont know when.
But someday,
the distances between us
would collapse and
you might never come to stay
but the little piece of your soul
shall be my home.

Each day as I move ahead,
each new exploration
each new revelation,
the old of me withers away
and newness forms my personality.
Our journeys are unstoppable,
we move until we have breathes to count,
and with every breath that is exhausted,
your image turns into a mirage,
your essence seems illusive
and the pacts, deceptive.
A lookback to left out plains
brings about storms of anxiety,
a shrill scream calls out,
as if calling me back home.
Calling me back to you.
But motive is to keep moving.
Without expectations of a destination
but in the secure knowledge
that it is not far.

I wait for nothing this moment
But that day,
When you'll finally be my address.
Each day, you die in my mind,
but the love resurrects you
regardless of the rules the world has taught.
And that day, you'll be as mortal as me,
we'll live together in each other's embrace,
inseparable.
And may be I would wish no more mortal days to be given to me,
I shall ask no more sunrises or dusks,
cause the eternity of life shall
by the will of the love
be all accumulated in that day.
And may be, being alone
shall not be any disturbing anymore.

All I wake up,
each morning, is in the wait
of that sunrise that shall shine from within.
Al forl I close my eyes,
each night, is in the wait for
the night that shall end the wait for the end.

Ravana

na hi khabar manzil ki
Na ghar ka koi thikana,
na raston ki koyi samajh
na hume jaane ye zamana,
apni baandh gathrhi umeedon ki,
safar-e-zindagi par hum ho chale ravana.

Akele aaye the,
akele hi hai jana,
teer ki disha pakde,
humne ab laut na kabhi ana.
Raahgir milte hain dost nahi,
kuch safar jo kismat me likha,
saath milta hai, saathi nahi,
hume na raahgiro mein koi apna dikha.
Taluk bhi hum rakhna nahi chahte,
In aate jaate hava ke jhokon se,
kis cheez ka nishan hain inme,
jo hum talashen in logon me?

Gum bhi humein nahi koi,
chaahe khushi ki bhi na koi aas hai,
nazar tikki guzarti duniya par,
bus ek yaad jo paas hai.
Kitne suraj doobe, kitne chaand chadhe,
humare paas na koi hisaab hai,
gaadi ke pahio ki kaalis se,
roz ek panna bhar dete hain, is zindagi ki jo kitaab hai.

Koi desh hamara nahi,
koi mulk paraya nahi,
kuch na khone ke liye,
kuch bhi humne paya nahi,
Dastaan hai safar,
aur kuch bhi na humein dikhana,
sang ashayen leke,
hum ho chale ravana.

The Bonefire Dance

A little time remained
before the end of time came.
Far from the gloomy people
You and I sat by the bonefire.
A last one hour to be spent
in each other's exclusive presence.
Sticks and frivolous crumbling
wood became ashes.
Fire had been engulfing its
supporter and creator.
Somewhere far enough,
the world too was crumbling to sawdust.
And the league of destruction
was heading towards us too,
to take back the exquisite spared time.

We were numb by senses,
as we sat facing each other.
A whole life had passed,
when this time, we again met.
I couldn't even remember,
who were you, but I knew you.
Just as you knew me,
But we both knew, what time it was.
Flames disturbed the shape of your face,
and the colour too, even the tears.
No matter what, the tongue
could never gather courage to speak,
let alone saying, what was in heart.
I was only able to gaze
a still, calm, uninterrupted gaze.
A once before the last time.
For a moment, the time did stop,
locked down were the rivers of time.
In line when our eyes fell,
our souls touched with cold fingers.
A touch demeaning worldly existence,
A feeling only for the souls.

Then in last five minutes,
I too got up and clutched you tight.
As soon as you got up
and embraced me.
The fire burnt on the remains
of the brave wood.
And we danced loose,
to the song of approaching end.
A feeling of let all go off from body,
into the free universe.
Holding you in arms,
and arms held by air,
I loosened any grip over myself
and slowly surrendered to thyself.
Tears shone in our eyes,
as the stars shone dimly bright.
At last, may be we were happy,
to live a few moments of peace.
A slow time, which almost made up
for the waste of it of a whole life.
And this time, we didnt even need words,
We didnt even need language.
For all was communicated by touch.
A divine feeling.
Finally, a chapter closed by a lesson,
though, for no application ahead,
for no repition to juniors,
but for the peace of the spirits
Who may wander by the graves.
And finally,
Finally, The end was warmly welcomed
and was received with our bodies
blown away in unison,
and our ashes flown away by the fission.
It might mean death,
but it only was life,
however small a length,
but big in the purpose.

Blessed I am

I came to this world
with a few cries.
Not my wet eyes
But as tears of the kin.

I am a life
A being with a heart.
I am the blessing
Of the almighty
stepped down from heaven
to fulfill your home
with my aura
with my laughter.

I am indebted
but as much credited
to have you, my life giver.
My caretaker, my god.
And its my responsibility,
to give you a life of worth,
to enlighten your life
with my warmth
and love.

Teach me love,
teach me no hate
to my kind.
I am just as lucky
as the word happiness.
Teach me emotion,
and I shall smile,
I shall cry, I will laugh.
But not alone,
in your secure presence.

I promise.
To bless you as much to have me.
As much I am blessed to have you.
I am yours
and I am too a being with a heart.
Please understand that.

Mann ki chita

Aanch dheemi thi
rang bhi neela tha
Jal raha tha main.
Andar hi andar se
Dhuan dhuan har rog hua
aur raakh ki tarah
padh raha tha kala
jab is jalte mann ne
mujhe hi jala dala.

Raakh mein bikhre
kuch khwab, kuch chaah,
abhi na jale the.
Beparwah mann ke kuch kone,
dadadhkte jism ki raakh mein
abhi na rale the.
Jal rahi thi agar,
To vo bechaini thi,
ubal rahi thi agar,
to vo galat fehmi thi.
Udaasi bhi de rahi thi
is aag ko hava,
Mayoosi bhi na hoi paayi,
apne haal se bewafa.
Bhasm ho gya main
phail gya havaon mein
phailte kaale gubaar mein.
Aur baith gyi aag
simat gyi raakh,
Utar gya thanda pad kar,
jal raha tha jis ishq ke bukhaar mein

Deception of the moon

I let my self
glue to the scene
Through the window,
the cloudy moon,
calling me,
to drown inside
The dark ocean of the night.
and so I did.

Drowning is no tough job,
when there's no fear of dying,
but as I swam to the surface,
I wished more and more to live,
fascinated and held by the,
glorious moon,
swimming slowly,
further away,
amongst clouds'
hazy ambience.
And ask me for how the worldly pleasures lose their meaning,
cause floating on the top of the world,
this mystic witness,
had let once, the will to live, be alive,
and then the fear of death, sleep tight.

Hoards of clouds,
were lazily slipping on this
silvery lit dark surface of the night,
a star would every now and then,
beam at me and hide quickly,
like a play of hide and seek,
or writing a message in their,
Beaming characters,
to which I was least bothered.
I was already taken
by the figure that appeared
where moon was.
Myth has it,
the moon shows the most precious,
thing when it shines bright,
the borrowed exuberance of the sun,
is nothing, but the aura, the light,
of the person, that enlightens your mind, when it behomes the ever dark misery.
This voyage of clouds,
and the climb to the moon,
was however halted by time,
as the sun's yawn was ready to break dawn,
and I fell back to earth,
away from the inscription
of my dream girl,
that the moon bore with grace,
and with no shame,
It was taking away,
the dear girl, with it, to the other world.
And If I ever would have cared,
Of what stars were saying,
this dawning despondency,
had not crossed my way,
only If I had cared about,
what the message of the stars, had to say.

Ashes

Rage is enlightenment,
in dark, a flickering candle,
and in plenty, destruction,
exceedingly tough to handle.
We all behome darkness,
and so does the fire,
we are at its mercy,
after the will of our desire.

Dragons are real,
they live inside us.
They are the warmth of your heart,
the energy of your soul,
the spark of your charm,
like burning hot coal.
They feed on your rage,
and bleed destruction,
no you cannot cage,
when they exhale fire.
And no one is to be spared,
no culprit, no innocent,
if they escape the fragile shell of your body.
Cause they'll hatch like birds,
and duel with each other,
flying out of your reach,
and all what you would see
would be,
orange fire,
blinding bloody red.
Insane killing white,
and one by one,
the worldly shapes,
would be ashes black,
darker than the darkness you behome
spread all along in your view,
and you'll perceive it as the illusion,
but horror to your belief,
you'll know,
that,
Dragons are real.

How life

I live life daily
with the fainting hope
that the life I live
will become more happy.
This word happy,
sometimes it comes to me
via these paper chits
scattered all around me
except my pockets,
and sometimes by surprises
which show me how mundane
these paper bits are.
Many a times,
I search for this word
for days and weeks,
and sleep with a rotten expression
that no bits or bytes
made my life any good today.
I look back at those days
and pat at my heart
to render it some courage
often which is lost
looking for the word happy.
I dont understand much
these rules and regulations,
these conventions and pacts,
of living your life while
running and falling,
getting up and falling
but not giving up this race
behind the paper bits,
that no matter how much hurt you'd be,
you can't quit the race.
I am a man, more accomplished by
little pleasures, little surprises
for which we know life is so beautiful.
But, still it wont happen,
by just writing about it,
till you dont quit, you run
or you are down once forever,
where lights are off
and curtain is closed.
Where no happy words
would make you chase
and no amount of bits
would make the show to be played again for you.
These thoughts
are my greatest enemies they say,
not thinking about life
and living it daily for bits and bytes,
is not the kind of life
I wish to live.
But thinking oppositely
to how I should live,
I still live in a fainting hope,
that it would become
something more happy,
something more calling.
